Awarding Grants since 2009
For the past 17 years, the Sustainers of the Junior League of Reading, PA have awarded grants to direct programs with measurable outcomes that impact low-income children and that fit with the JLR focus statement:
The trained volunteers of The Junior League of Reading, PA, Inc. are focused on empowering youth by creating, improving, and expanding the resources and opportunities available for their growth, development and overall welfare, so they can become stewards of leadership in their communities.
Preference is given to direct programs with measurable outcomes that impact low-income children and that fit with the JLR focus statement (above).
The Junior League of Reading, PA Inc. Sustaining Members raise money each year to provide grants to our community that focus on empowering youth. Our biggest fundraiser is our Poinsettia Luncheon, hosted at the Berkshire Country Club each Thursday after Thanksgiving.
Congratulations to our 2026 Grant Recipients
