Congratulations to our 2025 Community Partner Award Recipient,
Dr. Olubunmi K. Ojikutu, MD

Dr. Ojikutu has served as Chair of the Reading Hospital’s Department of Pediatrics since 2020. In her role, she oversees and manages the necessary procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients ranging from birth to 18 years. She also contributes to developing strategic plans for growth and expansion of services, mentors providers and residents, and collaborates with other clinical departments to ensure consistency of practice throughout Tower Health.
Dr. Ojikutu has practiced as a pediatrician at Reading Hospital since 2005. She has led many initiatives to improve clinical care across the care continuum, and provides care during clinical mission work both locally and internationally, improving health care and education for girls and young women.
Dr. Ojikutu has been instrumental in furthering the work of the Junior League of Reading’s menstrual equity program. She is a two-time participant of our October GMM menstrual equity panel as well as a two-time participant of our Let’s Talk, Period event. Not only does she serve as a panelist for the event, but she also helps in the planning process. She attends JLR’s planning meetings, helps coordinate with the other speakers, hosts a table before and after the event, and delivers an incredibly impactful presentation. Her knowledge and authenticity make what she shares meaningful and relatable. There is no question both the children and adults appreciate and understand her message.
