Touch A Truck 2016

PRE-SALE TICKETS for Touch a Truck 2016 are no longer available. HOWEVER, the Junior League of Reading will be selling UNLIMITED numbers of tickets at First Energy Stadium on April 30 (the day of the event). Please join us starting at 9:30 am (Sensory Hour), or at 11 am for Touch A Truck. Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card.


The Junior League of Reading, PA, Inc. is partnering with the Fightin Phils for Touch-a-Truck 2016!

WHO: The Junior League of Reading is an organization of women who have been committed to improving our community for over 90 years.

WHAT: The Junior League of Reading, PA, Inc. will host its 11th annual Touch-a-Truck community event . There will be tons of trucks, fire engines, motorcycles, and other types of vehicles for children to climb on for hours of fun. With entertainment, food and activities, it promises to be great family fun for everyone! Come honk the horns and have a blast! Last year we had over 1,500 people attend!

WHEN: Saturday, April 30, 2016, 11a.m- 3 p.m. (Rain date: May 1st- same time). We are hosting a “sensory-friendly-hour for children requiring a quieter environment from 9:30-10:30!

WHERE: FirstEnergy Stadium, Home of the Fightin Phils, 1900 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19605


  • Tickets are being sold in advance and via credit card the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased on line HERE
  • A Sensory-Friendly-Hour will be held from 9:30-10:30 A.M. for children with autistic spectrum disorders and those requiring a quieter environment.
  • The “Roaming Railroad” will be doing train rides and have a race car track – check them out at www.roamingrailroad.com.
  • “The Night Before Touch a Truck” books will be for sale – a a FREE book will be given to the winner of a coloring contest for ages 3-8.

WHY: The proceeds raised from Touch-a-Truck 2016 will support Junior League and its community projects and services which expand the resources available to all children in order to enhance opportunities available for their growth, development and overall welfare. More specifically, it supports the Junior League’s  Youth Empowered initiative, in which we strive to improve the self-esteem of our youth and empower them to lead.

How: Tickets are purchased the day of the event at the Junior League registration table. They are $5 for adults (ages 13 and over) and $2 for children (ages 2-12). Under age 2 is free.

Back again for a third year is TrucksForMaddox.org, a non-profit whose goal is to spread the joy of playing with toy trucks. Please bring a NEW toy truck to donate to TrucksforMaddox.org and receive free entry for one child, ages 2-12.

Proceeds from Touch-a-Truck will benefit The Junior League of Reading’s initiative, Youth Empowered, which is working towards improving the self esteem of our youth and empowering them to lead.
